Michel Bello Hernandez, the owner of Belloliz Auto Sales, was preparing to open a new car dealership. He bought and completely renovated a 12,346-square-foot property in Florida for the dealership. However, he started to worry about security. They had cameras, but the system wasn’t effective. So, Michel sought out Sentry AI for a security consultation.

The Challenges: Deter Theft
With rising car thefts in Florida and easy access to the property, Michel’s concerns grew. Sentry AI found that the property was located near major roads and next to 24/7 restaurants, with no fences to provide security. It was very easy to access from the road, and anyone could enter the property at night. Moreover, catalytic converter thefts continued to surge across Florida, with thieves able to remove them in just 10 minutes. However, the existing system was not effective and lacked real-time monitoring and deterrence functions.

When the property was viewed through the installed cameras during actual operation, numerous blind spots were discovered, which could lead to theft. The zoom cameras showed a narrower view and could not identify individuals far from the camera. Sentry AI redesigned the camera setup and locations, proposing to add two more cameras. They adjusted the original design based on real-time operations. Sentry AI installed and deployed all the cameras and equipment within two days.

They can also initiate a talk-down or play other relevant audio for deterrence. In the case of talk-down audios, the messages can be customized according to the owner’s needs and recorded in various languages. Additionally, monitoring agents can use live push-to-talk features to address specific suspects directly, such as saying, “Man in blue jeans and a white shirt, leave the property.”

The Results
One night, someone was wandering the lot and looking inside the cars. We initiated an auto talk-down, and the agent played additional alarm warning audio.
